An update on our Purposeful Adventure

We’ve been in Birmingham for a month now and it’s definitely winter.

After three weeks at Carrs Lane Lived Community, we decided to leave. This was entirely our decision. We are grateful to Steph, Matt, Melissa and Sister Mary Joseph who were incredibly generous in their hospitality, welcoming us into their home, sharing of meals and their prayer life. We wish them well in their adventure in community.

After a week staying with friends, we have ended up, quite unexpectedly, in another community! Eadie Community House is attached to Selly Oak Methodist Church, and after a chance encounter at Woodbrooke, we will be staying there until shortly before Christmas. We are very grateful that we are able to continue our plan of experiencing faith-based intentional community.
